New to Australia, Tiny Tot Baby Sports DVDs introduce children to the wonderful world of sports through these fun sports-themed videos.
The DVDs currently available as part of this series are: Baby Soccer, Baby Golf, Baby Basketball and Baby Baseball.
Designed for children under the age of 6, Baby Sports Videos have been produced to create an early interest in sports, friendship and teamwork.
Whilst Baby Sports DVDs introduce the fundamentals of each featured sport, the main objective is to encourage children to get up and be active which is achieved by seeing other children having fun playing the game.
Involvement in team sports can help build confidence, improve social skills and can lead to a lifetime of physical fitness – a significant issue given the alarming rate of childhood obesity in Australia.
Titles in the Baby Sports series have won several awards in the United States including: Top DVD of the Year and Top Toy of the Year Awards from Creative Child Magazine –as well as awards from iParenting Media and receiving Family Approved endorsement from the Dove Foundation.
Also available are the Tiny Tot Sports Books range. Tiny Tot Sports Books are written in a fun easy to read rhyming pattern; an important pre-reading skill. Titles available include: Tiny Tot Soccer, Tiny Tot Basketball, Tiny Tot Golf and Tiny Tot Baseball.
